Your blog was the first one that caught my attention. The “Still Learning” heading reaches me on a personal level as I feel I am always learning myself. The blue background with design was awesome and I only recently saw that it was a map. I have always been a fan of maps. I liked how you were able to put on a moving picture. The slideshow really added to the professionalism of the blog. I did feel as though the slideshow was a little small, and on a strong background sometimes the colors didn’t match. If it is possible I would suggest enlarging the slideshow and look into coordinating the colors with other colors on the blog. You have a hard task in front of you. Scrolling down, I saw a very clear and direct picture of you. Putting a face to the wording gave me more incentive to look over the blog on a more personal level. Your “About Me” section was very direct and meaningful. I saw it as very important and meaningful information. In addition, I found the visiting a country question to be intriguing and I responded. One other thing I saw was the length of your posts. We are all guilty of writing new posts which are much too long to get a reader involved. All in all you are off to a great start and I would enjoy following up on your blog to see what new designing you have achieved.
Hi Gretchen! I like your blog. I enjoy the background, and that it splits up the screen into the different sections. I think your font colors, size, and style coordinate appropriately. I also like the poll you put in. That is really neat!
I like your title "Still Learning" as we are all still learning, but it begs the question... Still learning what? Perhaps you could put some "..." at the end to sort of trail off indicating you are still learning about life, or everything? Also, I love the slideshow you put in. However, I feel it is in an awkward place. It is probably hard to figure out how to move it around, but there must be some way to put it up either next to your title or maybe stretch it out underneath the title directly.

I am confused, though, about the title. I think you might be in the same boat as the rest of us, as the title doesn't really have anything to do with the blogs (trust me, mine is the same way).
